Updated: Jan 18, 2022

Are you coming to Boca Raton for Winter Break? Do you have little ones? If so, this article is for you. No need to worry about planning out your stay; we've done all the work for you. Just pack up your bags, get on the plane, and the rest is done. Enjoy!

Day One

9:00 AM - Vacation is no fun if you have to wake up early - thankfully Boca Raton offers many Minyan Options. Check out our minyanim page by clicking here to see all the Shachris minyanim available, updated every week.

10:00 AM - Breakfast at home. Cereal & milk, and some frozen pancakes and waffles.

10:45 AM - Swim party. Enjoy the water, the warm weather, and most of all - enjoy time spent with your kids. No rush to get anywhere, just take it easy & soak up the sun. This is what Boca is all about.

1:00 PM - Lunch at Rave. Lots of pizza options & fresh sushi too. And make sure you try their famous pizza dipping sauce!

2:15 PM - Head to Bedner's Farm in Boynton Beach for strawberry picking. Get a basket and fill it up as much as you'd like. When you get back, they weight the basket, and charge based on weight. Prices are extremely reasonable! They often also have green peppers, grape tomatoes, and jalapenos too. Your kids will have a great time, and its a great opportunity for that perfect photo shoot :)

Important: Before you go, check their website to make sure the fields are open. Click here.

4:30 - Right next door to Bedner's Farm is Animal Edventure Park & Safari. They have a petting zoo - perfect for little ones.

5:30 - Dinner time. Stop by Jerusalem Grill for some amazing shwarma, schnitzel sandwiches, burgers, and whatever else you'd like.

7:00 - Good night little ones.

9:00 - Time for a late night snack. Sneak out of the house and visit Cinnaholic in East Boca for the best Cinnabon you have ever had (or order through uber eats). Best of all, they are parve & vegan too. But don't let that you scare you - you would never know it's parve if we didn't tell you. Really amazing!

Day Two

10:15 AM - Time for some breakfast. Head over to Lox N Bagel for a wide array of breakfast options. Start your day with a Greek omelet and a cup of Joe, and of course order pancakes for the little ones. While your here, order some bagels and cream cheese to pack for lunch.

11:30 PM - Head to Lion Country Safari. Its a 50 minute drive, but well worth it. There is so much do do here, kids will have a blast. Start by driving your car through the safari, as you come up close with Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, and many more animals. Then, head into the park and enjoy the Flying Elephant Ride, the Rio Grande Train, Safari Maze, Fun Slide, Pontoon Ride, and our favorite - the splash zone area. Bring lots of snacks - your kids will want to stay here for a long time.

5:00 PM - Time to head back to Boca. Kids are getting exhausted, and we still need supper.

6:00 PM - Enjoy dinner at Roadhouse. Adults will enjoy the sophisticated flavors, and the kids will love the kids menu. Oh, and make sure to save room for dessert. The churros and the llama lo shake are simply amazing!!

8:00 PM - Good night little ones. It's time to get some sleep.

10:00 PM - Late night swim. You may want your pool to be heated for this one :)

Day Three

10:00 AM - Yesterday was a busy day, but vacation is supposed to be laid back. So today we relax. Eat out all three meals, and take it easy by staying local. Start the morning on the right foot with breakfast at Lox N Bagel.

11:30 AM - Head home for a family swim party. Get some pool noodles, floats, tubes, and water toys to make it even more fun.

1:30 PM - Lunch at Carmela's. Featuring diverse menu offerings, ranging from mozzarella onion rings and butter poached "scallops", to traditional avocado egg rolls, Carmela's is sure to please all who come to dine.

3:15 - Head to Sugar Sand Park. Located just about 10 minutes away, its a local favorite. Park features tons of space for kids to run around, swings, and a huge climbing tower. There is also an indoor science museum section, as well as a carousal. And best of all, its free! (Except for the carousal, $2 a ride).

6:00 - Dinner at Ditmas. Make sure to check out their daily special by clicking here.

7:30 - Good night little ones.

9:00 - Hire a local teenage girl to stay home with the kids, and get out for some adult fun. Head to Drive Shack in West Palm Beach for an upscale golf range. Or if you're feeling a little more traditional, head to the new Bowlero bowling alley, located just 10 minutes away.
